Emma - I walked in the doctors off exactly a year ago and was tested for herpes, a few days later I was diagnosed. It has taken me a year to finally be okay, and I had my first disclosure this past Friday. It forced me to acknowledge the fact that its real and I can't continue to hide from it anymore. Hi Emmalynn, how stressful this can be to not disclose to anyone. I guarantee you that someone in your area has it too. 1 out 5 women have it and 1 out 6 men have it. I believe. So there are more than a few in your area that has it. So try to rest assure you are not alone. Have you thought of calling a clinic in your area to see if they get other people with the same mini virus that is not life threatening. I guarantee you that probably about 20 - 25% have it.
