at the end of July I went to go get tested for type 2 herpes (without any symptoms) but just for reassurance. The last sexual encounter I had before my bf (who tested negative) who in either late may/early june. My test in july came becak equivocal as .97 and I took it again on Oct 2nd and it came back equivocal again as 1.08...how should I make sense of this? Is it more likely I have it since It's been rising...

She recommends I take it AGAIN on December 1st...

There is a pretty high chance this is a false positive. Low positives like this are usually false, and it’s even more likely since you don’t have symptoms. There is really no difference between. .97 and 1.08 so I would not say this is a positive trend. Check back in in a couple months and I bet it will be negative.
