The unknown but I know

Hey all. What were your symptoms (besides the obvious lesions/sores) that was leading you to believe you had contracted HSV? I haven't been medically diagnosed but from some of the reading I've been doing my symptoms do fall in the category of HSV. 4 weeks after my sexual encounter, I tested negative for HSV 1 & 2 IGG (obviously still 50/50). Between weeks 3 & 7 I was having itching, and constant urination each symptom lasted about 2-3 weeks. Between weeks 6-10 I've been having constant tingling in the scrotum for the better half of the day and begins to settle down a little towards the end of the day. within recent days the itching has also began to come back again. Mind you, ive never had a visible OB. In the early days I was getting headaches and within the past 4 weeks I've been getting left leg pain. I recently went back to test at my 9 1/2 week mark and now waiting on my results which im leaning towards it being H+. Has anyone experience similar symptoms? How did you guys process it coming out from receiving your labs with the news? What knowledge would you give someone about the topic? How long did it take you to process it all in and move on with it?

I’m going off my memory because I first and only outbreak was 3 years ago. I’m a woman so some of the symptoms may be different. I noticed tingling first but it was all over my body in random places and it wouldn’t last long. Then there was a change in my discharge which I initially thought was a yeast infection and it was itchy. Eventually I looked and saw sores and I knew what it was. When I got swabbed though they told me there were high levels of white blood cells in my discharge...I assume it was due to my body trying to fight the virus.
