Do I have it? If so what do I do?

I hooked up with a girl 3 times. The last time was nov. 5. She texted me almost two weeks after that saying she has herpes and chlamidia. My heart dropped and she tried to say I gave it to her (which is not true I got tested before her). I’m trying to figure out if I could’ve possibly given it to her. I had a oral herpes break out the last time we hooked up, but I never went down on her. I could’ve potentially touched my lip then her but I’m not sure, I do know however I used my spit. What does the community think because I have had no symptoms, and want to get tested but it says wait awhile because you could get a false negative if you go to early. If she just had it before and I have it, where do I go from here?

The only way to know if you have it is a blood test (IgG). None of us can answer that for you. If you don’t want to test twice, then you should wait 16 week’s post-exposure to have the test done. Transmission is always possible, but not a given, so I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.
