I disclosed and now I'm waiting while he processes.

I disclosed to a wonderful guy I have been dating for a few months on Monday. It is now Friday, we haven't talked much since and I am giving him space. Should I continue to be patient and let him process and think about what he wants to do? Or is it pointless and I should make things easier for him by just ending things?

Hi, @nikki871234. I think this is ultimately a judgment call and everyone would have a different opinion. Personally speaking, I'd give it about 10-14 days. If the guy didn't have the decency to say *something* to me about where his head was at within that time frame, I would have a good cry and move on. I sincerely hope for a positive outcome for you. Don't wait for anyone in life in general. You keep doing you and if he doesn't get back to oh over herpes, then he's probably not with keeping around anyway. People got to relax about this condition and not but into the mass marketed stigma. All it does is make pharmaceutical companies richer.

Yep, someone else is making money off of the false narrative.
