Sex during outbreak

I have HSV1 genitals. I thought I was healed completely so my partner and I had sex. But a few hours later I felt itching and discomfort so I decided to check and my sore was still there(only one). Irritated from sex. I've been taking 1000mg of lysine and 400mg of echinacea. Had this outbreak now for 3 weeks :( .. we had unprotected sex.. I'm worried I transmitted it to my partner due to my carelessness.. is the chance high it was transmitted? Sorry for stupid question..

I believe without condoms there is 10-15% chance of transmission , not sure if thats when you are shedding or not. Have you considered taking antivirals to help reduce the transmission rate? Has your partner tested negative for hsv1 or hsv2?

I've read 75% chance of transmission with outbreak, but everyone is different. If he is going to show symptoms ( some people don't) 90% of people will be symptomatic within 2 to 10 days
