Dating a non-HSV woman

I know it is easier for a guy to pass HSV on to a woman, so is it realistic for me to ask out a woman when realistically we won't be able to have sex.

Realistically, you *can* have sex with someone who is HSV-. There *are* people who aren't so horrified by the stigma around Herpes. There is also the fact that antiviral meds and condoms decrease the risk of transmission. As long as you carry the belief that you "realistically won't be able to have sex" because of HSV, that will be the case for you. As difficult as it is, we have to overcome the stigma ourselves before we can find those who aren't affected by it. As long as we carry certain beliefs, they will be our own personal truths.
