Pregnancy and Herpes

Hello mommies!

I am currently 5 mths pregnant.. And it appears like I may be having a tiny outbreak for the second time since I found out I had HSV1...the first time I had an OB it was horrible!! My doctor initially thought I had a staph infection but then got tested and turned out it was HSV1 but not in the mouth area for me it's was the genital area. And that was back in June last year...anyways I do not take valtrex because I don't ever really breakout. And I'm assuming I did now because of the pregnancy. So since I have what appears to be a tiny OB should I let it pass on it's own or maybe apply some ointment to help.

Please provide your suggestions. Thanks!
