No spleen! Please I need advice!

Does anyone have their spleen removed? What effect could having H have on someone that does not have a spleen ...

@Geminij I would ask your doctor about this. Statistically speaking, most people who do not have spleens also have HSV1, HSV2 or both, so it would be more the norm than the exception for doctors to have encountered such patients. If your doctor isn't helpful, maybe you could try asking Terri Warren on the Westover Heights site. She has a forum and there's a small fee to ask questions. I suggest this only because your question is *so* specific, I don't know if anyone on this board will have an answer for you (hopefully someone will) but Terri Warren might be more likely to have encountered a patient or research finding or previous forum poster with a similar concern.
