GHSV1 and kissing

I am single, dating and just learned a few months ago that I am GHSV1 positive. Disclosure is a must for me but I am wondering if I need to do this before the first kiss? My thought is that having HSV1 genital or oral is the same virus so I can still pass this on to someone through just kissing even though my outbreak was genital. I want to make sure I disclose to any future partners at the appropriate time.

You can only pass HSV from the contact area. So if you're positive that area is only genital then you can't pass it via kissing.
