Oral Sex Life

Someone has recently reentered my life after 12 years. I was head over heals for her then but life separated us. I believe we have a strong future ahead of us. She informed me the other day that she is HSV-2 positive. I've been researching and watching videos of others life stories and what people have to go through with this and the precautions we need to take. What I haven't found is how likely is it to contract through oral sex? She is on Valtrax and from just briefly talking with her, she doesn't have outbreaks much.

It is very very rare to get HSV2 through oral sex, that is probably why you are having a hard time finding information on it. I don't have any numbers for you, but the risk is slim to none. Hopefully someone else can answer with some stats.

Less than 1% of the population has oral Hvs2. Bery, very uncommon. Go for it!!!

And that's without Valtrex, Right? I imagine there are zero cases of hsv2 being passed orally if the head receiver is taking suppressive meds.
