Do your birth control pills cause more frequent herpes outbreaks?

I stopped taking birth control 6 months back bc I felt like it played withy hormones and caused me terrible OBs. After I stopped taking it, OBs were less frequent and when I did have one, wasnt so bad.

So, I was just wondering if anyone else experienced more OBs &/ heightened symptoms while taling nirth control

I don't remember seeing a direct correlation and I don't remember hearing about it but I don't see why it wouldn't in some - certainly hormones can cause OB's and perhaps your BC threw something out of whack in your system causing a stressor that helped the H break through....
