What's the difference between the 2 herpes, HSV-1 and HSV-2?

Recommended Posts

I feel like I ask stupid questions, but ima go for it anyway. I'm still wondering what's the difference between HSV-1 and HSV-2 gential herpies. I have HSV-2 and besides the percentages, I'm not sure there are other differences I should be aware of.

@jb that is so not true! As someone who was recently diagnosed I know now how ignorant & uneducated I was. Since finding out about my new found friend I had no other choice but to learn. (Now that i know what i know i truly feel that id be open to dating a person with H had i known more about it before. As a controllable skin disease!). That being said if you educate yourself & love yourself enough the right person will be willing to do the same.

Like all things in life.. everything is beautiful..sometimes it just takes the right pair of eyes to see it. Hang In there. If you'd like to chat sometime msg me :)

That is not true. I have HSV-2 and my boyfriend loves me just the same. If anything he said it kind of makes him want me more, because of the fact that I was able to disclose that with him. It builds more trust I do believe, and if they reject you then they aren't worth it. At least not to you anyways.
