Question of getting tested for herpes

hi I recently started dating someone has genital herpes and we use a condom and I know there still a slight chance of getting the virus. should I go and get tested soon? we only had sex once but I just to be sure I'm ok

the antibodys for herpes build up in 6 month ,so you probably cant see in the bloodtest if you contracted herpes but the chance that you did is really low.The most important thing is that you are using condoms and that your partner taking antivirales.Its really important that partner who have herpes take the medication because the transmission rate is much lower .

I m quit sure that you ok but if you still dating that person you will need to talk about that.

If you both take care the chance of transmission is really low.
