Bleeding..

Recommended Posts

Was diagnosed back in December, first outbreak was hell (in the anal region) so I couldn’t go to the loo at all without crying. Haven’t had any issues whatsoever since which means finding out my signs of an outbreak is yet to be discovered.

Today, I went to the loo, everything was normal till I noticed blood.. is this normal for any outbreak??! Is it an Outbreak or should I be worried about something else... I’m not in pain or anything. First time, there was blood when I went loo but I could feel the lesions, this time round I don’t.

I haven’t had herpes on my mind since I found out and now i’m stressing..

Hi. Could possibly mean another ob, but yes, H in that area is pretty painful. Even if it were a bit more internal, I’d still expect some pain, itching or something. Maybe a hemorrhoid? Some people just get little fissures and cuts in that area, I think that’s pretty common? If it’s a lot of blood and/or if this continues for any length of time, I’d consult a doctor, but if it’s just a little bit, I’d wait it out for a day or two.

My first OB was also around my anus, and since then I've had no more blisters but seem to have a tear that itches and sometimes bleeds. My Dr says it's just a fissure and not herpes related but I'm not convinced. Anyway any bleeding from that area should be looked into just to rule out anything serious.
