First disclosure was a huge success!

Hey everyone,

Today I disclosed to a guy for the first time and it couldn’t have gone any better. I explained to him what it was and how I got it and how it only took one mistake for it to happen. He was completely understanding, his exact words were “it doesn’t change the way I see you or feel about you”. He didn’t even need to do any research, I was prepared with facts but once I told him how common it is and how with proper protection it is difficult to transfer, he is already asking to have sex. Keep in mind this is an 18 year old boy, which are usually the most judgemental and only want you for sex. He still likes me for me besides the H, and I am so happy! I encourage anyone who wants to disclose to do so with a positive attitude, your partner will likely react with the same energy you give off. Good luck everyone! You can do it!
